While he's spent most of his recent time starring on the TV series Power50 Cent is getting back into big screen roles and will be appearing in the upcoming heist action film, Den of Thieves, alongside O'Shea Jackson Jr.

Directed by Christian Gudegast, the film stars 50 Cent as a notorious leader of a gang of bank robbers, whose group includes Jackson Jr. and Pablo Schreiber of The Wire fame. The crew hatches a plan to rob the Los Angeles Federal Reserve, but police officer Nick Flanagan, played by Gerard Butler, does his best to foil the plan.

The action-packed trailer includes car chases, guns and shootouts as Kendrick Lamar's "m.A.A.d city" plays in the background. Den of Thieves is scheduled to hit theaters on Jan. 19, 2018.

As expected, 50 has already been heavily promoting the film on social media. On Tuesday (Oct. 24), the rapper wrote on Instagram, "This one you must see" and "This is lit 🔥 trust me. In theaters every where Jan 19."

In related 50 Cent news, the New York rapper has once again been feuding with Irv Gotti, but this time over TV shows. After criticizing Gotti's new BET show, Tales, and saying it would be gone from the air soon, Gotti fired back.

"So let me let y’all know what the Whore did this week with his new bullshit series 50 Central," Gotti said. "The #’s came in on Thursday. But I wasn’t gonna say shit. But my brother Rule said Fuck That nigga. Let it be known. 50 Central WAS THE WORST PREMIERED SHOW IN BET ALL YEAR. BOTH THAT AND THE SHOW BEFORE IT COMBINED TO BE THE WORST PREMIERES FOR BET ALL YEAR. WITH RATINGS SO LOW AND RESPONSES FROM THE LIL PEOPLE WHO WATCHED SAYING ITS FUCKING HORRIBLE."
