ABC Cooking Competition Series To Feature Local Family

The White family from Texarkana will compete on the upcoming series premiere on ABC's new cooking TV show, "Family Food Fight".

Darlena, Shayla and Tanji White (who is known for her beautiful vocals & hair styling) will appear in "Family Food Fight" on Thursday, June 20, starting at 8 p.m. local time.

"Family Food Fight" features family teams competing with their home-style cooking and family recipes. Each family's diverse heritage will be important to the competition. Ultimately, one family will win $100,000 and be named America's No. 1 Food Family.

The series is hosted by celebrity cook Ayesha Curry, who's also hosted "Ayesha's Home Kitchen" on Food Network and wrote the cookbook "The Seasoned Life." She will serve as a judge along with Cat Cora and Graham Elliot, two cooking personalities on TV.
