The time is drawing near to lay the Queen of Soul's body to rest. The beloved Aretha Franklin's funeral is set for this Friday, August 31 at 10 a.m. at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.  

The funeral is limited to invited guests only, but will be available for viewing live online and on television according to the Free Press. Both Fox News and CNN have confirmed that they will air portions of the funeral live. 

Announced performers at the Queen of Souls funeral include: include Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Ronald Isley, Chaka Khan, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson and Yolanda Adams. So far, the following speakers have been announced: former President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Clive Davis. No timeline for the service has been announced, but given the number of participants, it's safe to expect it will run for many hours.

The Steve Harvey Morning Show,which airs on Majic 93.3, 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. will play the Queen of Souls music all morning, and will dedicate the show to her life, voice and legacy.
