Arkansas High AP European History Class Presents 5K “Malala Run” Saturday April 1

Arkansas High School AP European History 5k Malala Run is coming up Saturday, April 1st at the Arkansas High Football Stadium.
The 5K begins at 9AM am next to the Arkansas high football stadium. Early registration is only available through today, Friday, March 17. Thos that can register early registration are guaranteed a T-shirt, there is no guarantee after that. Late registration goes from Saturday, March 18 - race day April 1st.

Entry Fee is $20

All funds raised through the race will go straight to the Malala foundation, which is an educational organization that helps girls abroad go to school. If you don't know the story of Malala, as a young girl in Pakistan she tried to attend school but was shot in the head by the Taliban just for going to school. She survived the assassination attempt and went on to be the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. These days Malala runs her foundation.
