If you're a fan of the hit TV show American Ninja Warrior you might want to catch tonight's episode (August 14) as a 15-year-old Arkansas teen will be competing in the semi-finals of the show.

Fayetteville native Joseph Rouse will be going up against an 8-time veteran, according to a story on KNWA.Fox24.

Rouse once competed in the junior show and is looking forward to the competition, according to the report he has been training every day and has improved his speed and agility which has led him to be more disciplined. Rouse gives credit to his coaches and family for pushing him to the limits. However, it's his mother who pushes him the hardest and inspired him to go on the show after she applied to be on it but tore her ACL.

If Rouse is able to make it through tonight he will be headed to the National Finals, that's saying a lot from an Arkansas kid who fans call JG Rock.
