Pink Behind the Thin Blue Line invites you to participate in a Candlelight Prayer Vigil this Sunday night downtown at the Bi-State Justice Center located at 102 East Front St. in Texarkana, Texas starting at 8PM.

The Pink Behind the Thin Blue Line is an organization dedicated to "bridging the gap" between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve and protect.

Pastors invited to speak and lead in the prayer service are Jeff Schreve, Reginald Reid,  Derek Murphy and Bill Saxby. The invitation is open to all to join in the  prayers for police officers and citizens of Texarkana and surrounding areas.

Texarkana's Boy Scouts of America Troop 3 has been invited to participate as well with the opening and closing flag ceremonies. Troop 3 Assistant Leader Jim Standridge says "Our young men are so very proud to help out with this very important community event."

Pink Behind the Thin Blue Line describes this event as a chance to light the way to peace, love and unity for our communities as we come together asking the Lord to lead our hearts as we pray for our officers and each other.
