The first round of Grammy performers have been announced and Child Gambino (Donald Glover)  is set to hit the stage for the first time.

High off the reception to his psychedelic funk-influenced album, Awaken My Love!, Donald Glover is up for five Grammys, including Album Of The Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album, Record Of The Year, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B Performance.

As of right now, there's no word on what song he'll perform, though "Redbone" is up for several awards, and has dominated radio since the album's release in late 2016. Also slated to perform are P!ink, Lady Gaga and Little Big Town, with more performances being announced soon.

Beyond his Grammy appearance, Donald Glover has a lot of big events on the horizon. He'll star as Simba in the live action Lion King remake alongside Beyoncé in the summer of 2019. The second season of his hit, Emmy-winning TV show, Atlanta is also slated to drop later this year. And on the music front, he teased that he'll probably do a mixtape with Chance The Rapper, though there's no firm date for that arrival.

At any rate, Donald is sure to have something funky up his sleeve for the Grammys. The ceremony will air on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
