Lady Olenna Plots Thorny Revenge in ‘Game of Thrones’ S6 Deleted Scene

Not only will it take longer to get our Game of Thrones fix next summer, we’ll have even less episodes to do it with. So it is that we’ll take all the new footage we can get (not to mention all the Lady Olenna we can get) in a new deleted scene from Game of Thrones Season 6.

Entertainment Weekly debuted a new deleted scene from the upcoming Season 6 Blu-ray release, in which Lady Olenna (Dame Diana Rigg) plots some thorny comeuppance for Cersei in conversation with her nitwit son Mace. We haven’t previously seen much of the two together, though Olenna made clear her respect for Mace in Season 4.

Worth noting, Game of Thrones: The Complete Sixth Season hits Blu-ray and DVD on November 15, featuring at least four deleted scenes, plenty of “Battle of the Bastards” BTS content, and the usual spread of commentaries.
