If the forecasters have it right, we could see flash floods from the remnants of Hurricane Isaac.A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Thursday afternoon and evening across the Four States Area. Rainfall up to 4 inches and locally higher amounts could occur.

The could part of the forecast is if the weather computer models showing Isaac tracking very close to Texarkana prove correct. Forecasters say a change of 50 miles one way or another can vastly change the outlook for rain and just how much you get or don’t receive.

We could certainly use the rain as we are still well below the years average as far as precipitation is concerned.
