How You Can Help Arkansas Tornado Victims
All of us are feeling helpless after the tornado that went through Mayflower and Vilonia near Little Rock. The best way to help is through donations. Here are a few ways you can make a difference. The Four States Fair AG Learning Center is taking donations this week. Jennifer Wood Caraway says you can drop off items this week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the AG Learning Center.
Things that are needed:
Non-perishable food items.
Baby items such as diapers, wipes and formula
Also on the list: toiletries, gloves, blankets, bottled water, flashlights, batteries, tarps, and hand sanitizer.
Caraway plans a trip to Central Arkansas this weekend to drop off the needed items.
Other ways to help:
The Red Cross. You can donate to the Texarkana Red Cross at 821 Spruce Street or go to Redcross.org. You can also make a $10 donation by mobile phone when you text REDCROSS to 90999.
