Stars Hollow feels just a little bit closer now. On Thursday (May 19), the eternally delightful (and seemingly ageless) Lauren Graham stopped by for a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she revealed the official title (!!!) of the forthcoming Gilmore Girls revival.

Seemingly having rushed over literally from the set where the show is being filmed (both Gilmore Girls and DeGeneres' talk show are filmed on the Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank, CA), the breathless and shoe-less actress, who portrayed Lorelai Gilmore on the beloved show, shared that the Netflix reboot will be titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Adding that the cast and crew is almost done filming the highly-anticipated series, Graham divulged, "I can tell you the title for the first time. It's four 90-minute episodes, and they're winter, spring, summer and fall, so the show is called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." Previously, the reboot was rumored to be called Gilmore Girls: Seasons. Watch the actress's reveal, below:

However, this was not the first time DeGeneres was able to score an exclusive bit of Gilmore Girls revival-related news on her talk-show this year. In April, while promoting her comedy The Boss, much to everyone's surprise Melissa McCarthy revealed to the host that she would be returning to the show to reprise her role as Lorelai's BFF Sookie St. James.

While an exact launch date has yet to be released, it's reported that Netflix will premiere Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life sometime in 2016. Maybe Alexis Bledel and her secret new baby can stop by the Ellen set to drop the premiere date next month?
