Local Street Closed Due to Construction

50th Street in Texarkana Arkansas is closed due to work zone construction. The street is closed at the west side of the parking lot of Bobby Ferguson Park for about the next two weeks. Officials say that should allowe them to eomplete work in that area in a timely fashion and get it opened back up well before the start of this years Four States Fair and Rodeo which kicks off on September 14th.

City officials hope to have the street re-opened on or about September 4th.
