Monday’s Pearls Of Wisdom

Often times we confuse our work with our job, and the two are quite different. The late great Myles Munroe explained it best... "Your job is what they pay you to do, your work is what you were born to do."In other words, your job is your skill; your work is your gift. You can be fired from your job, you can never be fired from your work. If you lose your job TOMORROW, your gift walks out the door with you. It's like trying to fire a bird from flying, or a fish from swimming.  If you tell a bird to go away, he takes flight with him. It can't be taken away.

If we keep that in mind for 2019, we will stress less about a job and focus more on perfecting our work.
