Online Marketing Specialist Speaks to UofA Hope-Texarkana Introduction to Marketing Class

Carissa Dierksen, Senior Online Marketing Consultant from Townsquare Media-Texarkana, spoke to the Introduction to Marketing class students at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana yesterday.

The class is hosting various marketing professionals to speak of their experiences in marketing and how their respective jobs help businesses attract more customers. Dierksen spoke about the importance of a business’s digital presence in today’s market. She expounded on the importance of a company’s website, social media, search engine optimization and overall digital image.

Rachel Parson, UAHT Business Instructor said, "It has been exciting to have guest speakers visit the class to share their real-life experience in the marketing field. I believe meeting these professionals and seeing a glimpse of their work lives will help our students and spur them toward possible career fields.”
