Pet of the Week – Teddy Needs a Home [PHOTOS/VIDEOS]

Teddy is a 2 year old black and silver Yorkie mix at the Texarkana Arkansas Animal Care and Adoption Center. He is very sweet and just wants a home of his own. Teddy has been at the shelter since June of 2011.

You can also help all of the animals at the shelter by donating dog food. The shelter is always in need of food for the dogs and puppies.

You can make a difference by giving a dog a bath or helping a potential adopter walk a dog. Please remember to SPAY AND NEUTER your pets. Our local shelter is always over-crowded with homeless dogs and cats. Don't ask for gifts on your birthday this year, have an animal spayed or neutered instead.

The shelter needs dog and puppy food donations PLEASE! They have so many strays and owner give-ups coming in daily that the food demand is high and the supply is low.
