Railfest 2012: So What Is There To Do? Glad You Asked!

Railfest 2012 rolls back into Texarkana Saturday, May 12 with fun for the whole family.

The fun gets underway at 11:00 a.m. with free bounce houses for the kids, crafts booths and vendors of all types, lots of great food and drinks plus a beer garden.

Big Jake’s BBQ will also host a championship barbecue cook-off with trophies and cash prizes, including a $1,000 prize and a big trophy to the first-place winner, $350 for second place and $150 for third. There is still time to enter your team if you think you've got what it takes, click here!

At 5:00 p.m. everything will wrap up for the daytime activities and prep will begin on the nighttime concert featuring Diamond Rio. More about that later.
