You still have time to sign up to enter the Premium Fair Competitions. In addition to the livestock shows for school aged kids, there are many other categories for all ages to compete in at the Four States Fair: Photography, arts, crafts, farm equipment, baking, canning, painting, hobbies and home arts. 

Do you have a special recipe for jelly, jams, pickles or salsa? You can submit your canning and baking favorites to compete for prizes during the Four States Fair. Artwork and photography can be entered as well. You don't have to be a kid to compete in Fair events. All entries must be made online by August 25th.

  • LIVESTOCK SHOWS
    • The livestock shows are only for Participation in the Junior Beef Cattle Division is limited to members in good standing with their 4-H Club or FFA Chapter. Exhibitors must be enrolled in, and attending, public or private elementary or secondary school. Students must be between 3rd and 12th grade.

Any age can enter the categories below. Entries must be placed online by Friday, Aug. 25. First drop-off is Wednesday, Sept. 6. Items that win a first through third place will receive a premium check. Amounts vary each year and each department.

The 73rd Annual Four States Fair & Rodeo will open on Friday, Sept. 8. The fair opens weekdays at 4PM, Saturdays at 10AM and Sundays at 1PM. Fair Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12 years old, 5 years old and under are free. The Four States Fairgrounds is located at 3700 East 50th Street, Texarkana, Ark. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM, closed from 12PM - 1PM for lunch.
