String of Burglaries Possibly Cleared Up By Arrests
The Bowie County Sheriff's Department says a string of burglaries have likely been cleared up with arrest warrants issued for three suspects.
Deputies arrested 37-year-old Jeremy Lynn Siders of Atlanta, Texas. While 41-year-old John David Martin of New Boston, Texas and 37-year-old Nicholas William Dwyer of Texarkana, Texas are currently incarcerated in other jurisdictions on unrelated charges.
The suspects are facing charges of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. The Sheriff's Office says these arrests should clear up a string of burglaries from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex across the I-30 corridor up to Benton, Ark., and south to Shreveport.
The break-ins reportedly include Texarkana Tractor, Du Jack's Liquor, and the Boll Weevil Store in the Texarkana area. Bowie County deputies say the amount of property stolen from Texarkana Tractor had a value of over $79,000.
A recent break in the case occurred when Bowie County investigators met with a cooperating individual and allegedly obtained a confession to the recent string of burglaries.
The investigation into these crimes is continuing.
