I guess my question is, should we? Seriously, I'm not very squeamish when it comes to scientific exploration and experimentation. Discoveries are made by madmen and women who just have a certain drive, a need-to-know attitude. Combine that with a good education and you have scientists who are willing to do almost anything to learn those burning questions of science.
