So many folks are seriously concerned about climate change these days that it's enough to make you sweat bullets before the real heat even gets here. Maybe you didn't notice how hot it was yesterday? Did you know we broke a record for the heat on Tuesday, May 7? We did.

This is it, time is almost up and we still need about 200 more volunteers for the two shifts to pack food boxes this Saturday. This Saturday! Thank you to all who have volunteered so far, about 600 people, that is amazing, but we still need more to pack these food boxes and help feed hungry kids all over the world.

Governor Greg Abbott fires back at the Dallas County Judge that ordered 7 days jail time for Shelley Luther, the Dallas salon owner who reopened her shop in defiance of state and local orders not to do so. The Texas Governor has amended his original order stating "eliminating confinement as a punishment for violating these orders," and making the new order retroactive.
