Sad as we are to have the final season of HBO's 'True Blood' upon us, the June 22 return to America's favorite fang-banging drama can't come fast enough. We've already seen the first full trailer for Sookie's latest vampire drama, but the latest morsel offers our best look yet at the all-out war between humans, vampires and the deadly H-vamps complicating the final run.

A few weeks ago 'True Blood' doled out the first bit of new footage from the seventh and final season among its other spring offerings, but now the time has come for a much juicier meal. True Blood' season 6 naturally thinned the herd a bit, moving into a seventh and final run that reset the focus on smaller Bon Temps vampire stories, though it seems the cast has suffered an unexpected loss. Late season 6 arrival Luke Grimes had his suave vampire character James upgraded to series regular for the final year, but will now be recast.

The recent press rounds of NBC's forthcoming 'The Sound of Music' have seen Stephen Moyer peppered with all manner of 'True Blood' season 7 questions, though shooting of the premiere won't begin until January.
