Speaking for a living can lead to hilarious moments that after 27 years of radio are just to numerous to mention, unfortunately or fortunately most of them were not caught on Memorex. (That's a cassette audio tape for some of you.)

KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles, California has a great video of a man walking down the alley behind his home texting on his phone when he looks up to discover he's almost face to face with a 400 pound bear.

Do my eyes deceive me? Could be... not sure... don't know! The video below is short, only about 10 seconds worth, but they show it twice and slow it down and zoom in for the second part. The video was taken reportedly by a Russian Government Engineer in Siberia doing a road survey, and it does, for all the world, look like an honest to goodness Woolly Mammoth.

Pop music, it's what we do here at Mix 93.3, and it is what it is, popular music. Some good, some ok, some iffy at best, some just sucks out loud, it all depends on one's tastes. But one thing I would love to accomplish in my life and already have to a certain degree is help influence young people that Pop Music is fleeting, it just doesn't hold up to the true test of time.

Three guys decided to fly human shaped remote controlled planes around New York City to create the illusion of people flying. Creepy? Maybe a bit but can you imagine the thoughts going through the minds of onlookers?

Modern computer or console gaming is quite amazing when you look at the graphics and shading and real-world physics. The amount of combined brain and computer power, art, motion picture quality imaging and designing that goes into creation of just one game these days is simply astonishing.

The sad reality is that most people will not watch this video, most will not give a second thought to spreading tanning oil on their bodies and burning to a crisp to get ready for summer. Nobody is asking you live in a cave or stay in the dark all your life.

I watched an interesting video today that may or may not be of interest to you titled, "100 Years in 10 Minutes".  It's nothing official or anything like that, it wasn't compiled by Fox News or CNN, it's simply one person's visual attempt at pointing out things that have happened over the last 100 years. Things that 'they' thought were important.

Ok, I thought an Alpine Coaster was something to set my drink on, never heard of them before today, but have you seen one of these things before? Have you ever been on one? That looks like one incredible ride. The first nervous-Nellie thought I had was; what would happen if a tree fell in the forest and didn't make a sound until you plowed into it screaming at 57 MPH?

I have a feeling that some of you with allergies wake up like this everyday!  

I remember seeing Victor Borge perform his very unique brand of piano humor on TV as a kid at my grandparents house. Borge was just one of those guys who can find humor in anything, even classical music.

Have you ever wanted to know how they create all those special effects in the movies? You know they are shooting blanks, so how do they get all the stuff to look like it's being shot? How do you make a blood packet? How do you key out a green screen? Add backgrounds? Figure camera angles? Driving fast without driving fast, and don't forget Zombies!
