Texarkana College is geared up and ready to go for Black History Month, and programs will kick off TODAY! They have  some amazing events in store for the community that you don't want to miss, including in one of the greatest HBCU choirs around... The Grambling State University Choir.

The Black History Month itinerary is as follows:

Event: Songs of African American Composers presented by Robert Allen (baritone) and JoLaunda Kings-Adams (soprano)with Sydney Barber (piano)

Location: Truman Arnold Student Center Great Room

Time: 11 AM

 

Date: Saturday, Feb. 9

Event: A Music Workshop presented by the Grambling State University Choir (video below)

Location: Stillwell Humanities Music Hall

Time: 10 AM - 1 PM

 

Date: Sunday, Feb. 10

Event:  “Soufest! A Black History Month Celebration” presented by the Texarkana Regional Chorale, the Liberty-Eylau Concert Choir, Grambling State University with the Chorale Orchestra.

Location: Sullivan Performing Arts Center

Date: Thursday, Feb. 21

Event: CASA and the BSA (Black Student Association) History Month Celebration

Location: Levi Hall at Texarkana College
