Texas High to Introduce Its New AD/Head Football Coach

The new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach will be Gerry Stanford from the Dallas-Forth Worth area.

Specifically, Stanford comes from the same position at Flower Mound Marcus, which is located in the northern portion of the Metroplex.

Stanford will be formally introduced at a new conference on Monday at 11AM at the Field House at Texas High according to Texarkana Texas Independent School District Director of Communications, Tina-Veal Gooch.

Stanford has been a head coach for six seasons, three at Flower Mound Marcus and three previously at White Oak and has compiled a record of 47-22.

Stanford will take over at Texas High for long time AD/Head Coach Barry Norton who retired from the school district in January and took the same position across the state line at Arkansas High.
