Blessed be the fruit, Hulu’s best (and most terrifying) original series isn’t going anywhere. The streaming outlet has placed a Season 2 order for the adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s decisively feminist novel The Handmaid’s Tale.

Hulu confirmed the news alongside announcement of its new Marvel drama, as well as a bevy of other updates to its streaming service. It remains to be seen if Season 1 will cover the span of Atwood’s 1985 novel, though the author herself has testified to a wealth of material to be explored in this world. Says Hulu:

The response we’ve seen to The Handmaid’s Tale in just one week since its premiere has been absolutely incredible. It has been an honor to work with this talented team of cast and creators to develop a series that has struck such a chord with audiences across the country. As we continue to expand our strong slate of original programming, The Handmaid’s Tale is exactly the type of gripping and thought-provoking storytelling we want to bring to viewers. We can’t wait to explore the world of Gilead and continue Margaret’s vision with another season on Hulu.

In addition to Elisabeth Moss, the series also features among its cast Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Orange Is the New Black star Samira Wiley, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, Leftovers favorite Ann Dowd and O-T Fagbenle.

The first four episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale are streaming now, so stay tuned for the latest.
