The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce’s Area Merchants Committee will host the 1st Annual Hometown Music Festival this weekend, October 8, 2016, on Main Street  in downtown Broken Bow. Festival fun will kick off at 11AM Saturday.

The Music Festival will feature vendor booths, many homemade items for sale. Downtown Businesses will be having sidewalk sales. Several organizations will be offering fundraisers consisting mostly of food items. Many businesses will be doing old fashioned games for the kids.

Several events and games will be offered for all ages including soap box derby car races, a dunking booth, face painting, a rusty old washer toss, and much more. Bring your bikes for a “Slow Race.”

Musical entertainment and musical games such as Karaoke, musical chairs, and “TV Theme Song Trivia” will also take place throughout the day. DJ Lyons will be doing Dancing Contests from 4-6PM and then the Main Street Opry will be hosting an old fashioned street dance from 6-9PM. Bring your lawn chairs and join in on the fun!
