Don't judge a person by the chapter in their life that you came in on.

You never know what a person has been through that shaped and molded the character in the chapter you're just now reading.

He or she may appear a little antisocial or guarded in the current chapter. Don't internalize that and take it personal. Thumb back to chapter 3 where life first taught him or her to protect themselves.....their spirit.... their peace. Just because I smile and hold my head high, don't think you can't thumb back through the pages of my life and run across the chapter that explains what my smile cost me.

The problem with us is that we want every one to judge us on our "good intentions" when we fall short. But wanna throw the whole book away after coming in reading the middle of someone else's book.
