Top 5 Best Places to Buy Halloween Costumes in Texarkana

Halloween is just around the corner and now is the time to get your costumes lined out. There have been several new action hero type and kids' movies released since last Halloween that you can expect your little ones to have special requests for new costumes this year. Cars, Smurfs, Transformers, Captain America and Ironman costumes will all be out in full force in the stores. Here are my top 5 best places to buy Halloween costumes in Texarkana.

Spirit Halloween Super Store: Located at 5409 West 7th Street, Texarkana, Texas. They usually open the day after Labor Day. All of their costumes are for purchase. This year they expect the movies to be a huge hit with the kids and adults. From 3D Cars costumes to the traditional Scream masks, they have it all. Foxy Roxy and Stinking Cute Skunks for the ladies. Spirit Halloween Super Store has the largest selection of costumes around. They also have home decor too! In September they should be open on Monday through Saturday from 10AM to 7PM. Once we hit October they are open seven days a week from 10AM to 9PM.

Allison's Party Supplies and Novelties: Located at 1433 College Drive, Texarkana, Texas. They offer costume rentals as well as costumes to purchase. At the time I was putting this blog together they had not started unpacking Halloween costume boxes yet so no word on what they have. Open Monday through Saturday, 9AM to 5:30PM.

Petsmart: Located at 117 Richmond Road Ranch, Texarkana, Texas. Don't forget about your four-legged family members when it comes time to dress up! Petsmart has a wide variety of costumes ranging from the simple head gear to full costumes to turn your pal into Santa Claus himself.

Walmart: Located on Arkansas Blvd in Texarkana, Arkansas, or on New Boston Road in Texarkana, Texas. You will see Halloween costumes on the shelves as early as mid-September.

Target: Located at 102 Richmond Road Ranch, Texarkana, Texas. They always have a great selection of costumes for adults and children.

My stepson says he wants to be either Optimus Prime or Bumble Bee this year. I always like to pick a costume that will include a dog like the year I was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and my little dog was Toto or the year I was Little Red Riding Hood and my German Shepherd was the Big Bad Wolf!
