The site of where a fatal car accident claimed the life of actor Paul Walker has become a memorial for fans to leave flowers and candles in his memory. Walker’s 'Fast & Furious' co-star Tyrese paid a visit to the location Sunday afternoon (Dec. 1) to remember his fallen friend.

The singer-actor broke down at the scene and shed tears as he stood in front of the makeshift memorial. He then placed flowers on the spot where Walker and the driver, Roger Rodas, perished Saturday (Nov. 30) in a fiery car crash.

Tyrese even took a piece of the wreckage home with him and posted a photo (see below) of it on his Instagram page.

"I will keep your energy with me forever #AshesOfAnAngel," he wrote. "Fast family around the world we live you and we love you. Paul is the heartbeat of this franchise and were gonna see to it that his energy and presence lives on forever #myhearthurtssobad."

The 34-year-old actor also put up his last text with the actor, as well as a video from the 'Fast & Furious 7' set of Walker celebrating his 40th birthday.

On Saturday, Tyrese posted an elegiac note upon hearing the news that Walker had died.

“My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real,” he wrote. “Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don’t understand. My heart hurts. It’s broken, no one can convince me that this is real…. Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family."

Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul Walker’s family during this difficult time.
