Young Writers Camp

The 24th Annual Young Writers Camp was held recently at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.The two week camp is for students from 2nd grade to high school and features kids who have a desire and talent for writing at a young age. Campers spent two weeks honing their writing skills, learning from experienced teachers and meeting accomplished authors.

The camp ended with many of the students reading a piece of their works, receiving a certificate, t-shirt  and a reception at the Eagle’s Nest at the University.
