3 Arrested After Multiple Shots Fired in Texarkana Tx & Ar
Last night police in Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas received several calls from concerned citizens about hearing gunshots being fired.
The suspected car was described as looking like a white police car. Two officers spotted the vehicle around 10 PM last night in the area of the 1300 block of Pierre. The vehicle was stopped and the three men inside were questioned. Police found three handguns in the car one of them had been reported stolen back in 2020. Police also found Marijuana on all three men.
All three were arrested and booked.
According to the TTPD Facebook page:
Jacoby Block, 24, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Theft of a Firearm, Possession of Marijuana, and six misdemeanor traffic warrants. His total bond was set at $24,057.
Trashawn Tyson, 25, and Jerry Wrightner, 25, were charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana. Both of their bonds are $7,000 each.
Police say that the men all denied firing shots of the guns and police can't for sure say that they were involved, but police did notice that after the men were arrested there were no more phone calls about the gunshots in the area.
