Fall is Near

Summer is a lot of fun, but the best time of the year is Autumn.My 6 year old daughter can't wait for the leaves to fall so Daddy can rake them up into big piles. She and her 10 year old brother plan on doing a lot of running and jumping into those leaves before they are bagged up.

That is just one of the fun parts of this upcoming time of the year. There is of course the change from the overwhelming heat of summer to cooler crisp days and chilly nights. Football season, Halloween, the fair and rodeo, Thanksgiving and the Christmas Holidays to come.

I told my kids we would take them to Six Flags in Arlington one Saturday this fall, when the lines are short and the weather is beautiful.

Yes the best time of the year is just starting, get outside and enjoy it.
