Old Farmer's Almanac- Depending On Region - Warmer - Dryer- Wetter
The Deep South can expect more severe weather, thunderstorms, tornados, and a higher pollen count due to the early warming temperatures. April is expected to be much warmer than normal, May will likely be above normal with higher temperatures continuing into the summer. According to the Old Famer's Almanac weather map, Texas and Oklahoma will be much dryer, and Arkansas and Louisiana warmer and wetter than average.

How accurate is The Old Farmers' Almanac Predictions?
When predicting long-range forecasts accuracy has been near 80 percent. Farmers, gardeners, and event planners have been relying on these forecasts since 1792. For example, the Old Farmers' Almanac predicted an Arctic blast for late January and early February 2025 which we received in early January.
The first day of the spring season officially begins on Thursday, March 20. The longest day in 2025 will be on Friday, June 20.
