48 Cadets Graduate from Arkansas Law Enforcement Training

Forty-eight cadets from Class 2025-A of the Northwest Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy officially graduated today during a ceremony at Cross Church in Fayetteville.

The cadets completed a 13-week training program that included approximately 649 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training. Course topics ranged from criminal law and traffic control to accident investigation, firearms training, and defensive tactics.

Chief Steve Gahagans of the University of Arkansas Police Department served as the keynote speaker during the graduation ceremony, sharing insights from his own career and offering encouragement to the graduates as they begin their service in law enforcement.

Several cadets received special recognition for achieving top scores in key training categories. Awards were presented during the ceremony to honor their outstanding performance.
