Get ready for a day of live music, food, and fun! The Battle of the Bands 2025 returns to historic downtown Texarkana this Saturday, September 20.

Downtown Texarkana Fun For a Great Cause

This exciting, free event is presented by Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, Inc. and Recovery Road Productions. The all-day party kicks off at 11 AM in front of Hopkins Ice House, located at 302 E. 3rd Street, and will feature seven bands battling for cash prizes and local bragging rights.

Jason Butler with Recovery Road Productions:

It’s all about celebrating local talent, supporting the community, and providing a fun, safe environment for everyone."

Jason, along with Marsha Austin from Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, Inc., joined KKYR's Jim & Lisa on Wednesday morning for an update on what bands will be there:

More than just a fun concert, this is a charity event that supports the programs at Texarkana Resources, which help over 100 individuals with disabilities each year. Funds are raised through sponsorships and other donations.

The Battle of the Bands 2025 event will also feature local vendors, food trucks, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

How to Get Involved

The success of this event mostly involves you showing up and having a great time. They would also appreciate some monetary donations being dropped off.

It's not too late to become a Sponsor for the event or purchase a VIP Tent ticket online.

Spread the word by sharing posts about the event on the Recovery Road Productions or Texarkana Resources Facebook pages.

Texarkana weather for Saturday looks even better than last weekend, so come out to cheer on your favorite bands!
