
Miller County GOP Hosting Candidate Meet-and-Greet in Texarkana Jan. 22
Miller County area residents will have an opportunity to meet local and state Republican political candidates later this month during a public meet-and-greet event in Texarkana, Arkansas.
The Candidate Meet-and-Greet and Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for Thursday, January 22, from 5 to 7 PM at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center, located at 5200 Convention Plaza Drive.
Public Invited to Meet Candidates
According to the event organizers, the gathering is designed to give local voters a chance to meet and speak directly with candidates seeking state and county offices ahead of the upcoming election cycle. The event is open to the public, and admission is free.
Event Details and Program
The evening will be hosted by long-time Texarkana favorite Jan Morgan and will feature informal candidate interactions rather than formal speeches, allowing attendees to ask questions and engage in conversation.
In addition to meeting candidates, guests will be able to enjoy a chili cook-off, along with complimentary chili, beverages, and desserts provided during the event.

The meet-and-greet is officially sponsored by the Miller County Republican Committee, which hosts similar events aimed at increasing voter engagement and community involvement in the political process.
