The Golden Chick on Richmond at Cowhorn Creek has officially closed its doors for good. The Richmond Road location was one of four Golden Chick fast-food chains in the Texarkana area.
About Golden Chick
The Texas-based chain has been serving customers its famous fried and roasted chicken, crispy tenders, wicked wings, and southern fried catfish nationwide since 1967. Wicked wings are my favorite, paired with a side of mac and cheese, talk about a good ol' southern-cooked meal. Golden Chick is also known for their fresh-made rolls, dirty rice, fried okra, mashed potatoes, and other golden delights.
