Hope In Action Receives Union Pacific Grant for Facility Upgrades
Hope In Action has received a $5,000 grant from Union Pacific Railroad’s Community Ties Giving Program to help improve its transitional housing units with new energy-efficient windows and doors for the facility in Hope, Arkansas.
The grant will allow the nonprofit to replace aging wooden fixtures with modern, energy-saving upgrades, enhancing comfort, safety, and sustainability for residents who are working toward stability and self-sufficiency.
Executive Director Paul Henley said the improvements will create “a better living environment for the individuals we serve” while supporting the organization’s ongoing mission to provide hope and opportunity for those in need.
