According to a press release, the nationwide program highlights top-performing HVAC students each term, spotlighting those who demonstrate excellence in technical training and workforce readiness.

UAHT Student Recognized for Hard Work and Dedication

Eric Lacefield was selected for the honor based on several factors, including his attendance, class participation, academic performance and internship experience. His commitment to the program and hands-on learning set him apart.

As part of the recognition, he received a certificate, a Malco cap and a professional HVAC service tool kit to help him continue building his career.

Eric is set to graduate this spring with honors, and he’s already putting his skills to work. He has begun employment in the maintenance department at UAHT, gaining valuable real-world experience even before completing the program.
