
Joint Sting Operation Nets Drugs and Firearms in Small Arkansas Town
In a joint operation with federal, multiple state law enforcement agencies in Arkansas and the Drug Enforcement Administration, a narcotics search warrant was executed in the 600 block of Midway Road in Malvern that resulted in seizing a large assortment of drugs and paraphernalia related to methamphetamine, psilocybin, and marijuana.
Amount of Drugs and Guns Seized in the Search
According to the Malvern Police Department's Facebook page, Group Six of the 9th East Judicial District Drug Task Force, in collaboration with the Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office, the Malvern Police Department, the Arkansas State Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the United States Postal Inspection Service implemented the search warrant.

- 1,210.68 grams of marijuana
- 31.7 grams of methamphetamine
- 323.18 grams of THC wax
- 550 grams of psilocybin-laced products
- 17 firearms
What Led to the Police Search?
Following reports of suspicious activity provided by the Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police, the search warrant was initiated. Through teamwork and dedication, local, state, and federal agencies were able to get these drugs and guns safely off the street. Police did not say if any individuals were arrested during the seizure earlier today.
