The Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council (TRAHC) is showcasing three new free exhibits this fall at the Regional Arts Center in downtown Texarkana. Sponsored by Patterson-Troike, the shows highlight regional talent working in fiber, clay, photography, and conceptual art.

  • Gallery Hours: Wednesday–Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM
  • Admission: Free and open to the public
  • Location: Regional Arts Center, downtown Texarkana

Exhibit Highlights

  • RED: A Regional Exhibit

- Runs Sept. 24–Nov. 22
- Features 22 artists exploring the color red in creative and technical ways.
- Many works available for purchase, with sales supporting future TRAHC programming.

  • Cara Kearns – Misunderstood Mythological Creatures… And Other Stories

- Runs Sept. 17–Oct. 25
- Intricate ceramic and fiber art inspired by memory, mythology, and curiosity.
- Artist Talk: Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 PM (reception at 12:30 PM)

  • Gary Cawood – Black Box

- Runs Sept. 17–Oct. 18
- Archival photographs exploring objects and natural fragments in outdoor studio settings.
- Dark, layered imagery reflecting on nature, time, and human impact.
