“The Voice” Star Hailey Wright to Perform at Veterans Picnic

Hospice of Texarkana cordially invites all current and former members of the U.S. Military Armed Forces to its 3rd Annual Veterans Appreciation Picnic on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Hospice of Texarkana Care Center at 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive.

3rd Annual Veterans Appreciation Picnic

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will allow attendees to celebrate our veterans and foster community awareness of those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom we enjoy today.

“As part of our We Honor Veterans program, this event reflects our deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes,” said Cynthia Marsh, Executive Director of Hospice of Texarkana.

“With Memorial Day around the corner, it’s a meaningful time to come together in honor and reflection.” Part of the organization’s We Honor Veterans program, the picnic is designed to honor the men and women who have served the nation in uniform.

Live Entertainment - Hailey Wright

The event will feature live entertainment from Hailey Wright, a local singer and former contestant on The Voice, as well as complimentary lunch and beverages for all attendees. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for outdoor seating.

Organizers are hoping this picnic is not only a celebration of showing support for our veterans but a great way to share stories and connect with them through community fellowship and good food.
