(KNUE-FM) Let’s just be honest, at this point, everyone in Texas is just exhausted. It seems like everyone has been struggling to keep up with life, whether it’s the stress of work or bills or anything else life throws at you.

But remember if you don’t take care of yourself, it’s difficult to tackle everything else that gets thrown your way, which is why I wanted to make a list of some resorts not too far from us in East Texas which could be great for a relaxing getaway. 

Sometimes you don’t have lots of time to take a vacation, but even if you can sneak in a quick weekend getaway or even for one day.

You need to do something to recharge your batteries, you can’t keep running on empty.

It’s okay to allow yourself to relax and take a break for a day or two.

But if that is not exactly an option at your house, maybe getting a room for a night or two at a resort will help you manage the chaos a little bit better.
