
Old Farmer’s Almanac Forecasts Early Snow in Texas
It might not seem like it, but this fall has been surprisingly chilly. Sure, it’s hot as a dog during the day, but as soon as the sun sets, temperatures slip into the 60s, and that’s just in the first week of October!
Spooky season is always tricky in Texas. You never know if you're going to be freezing in your Halloween costume or dripping in sweat.
It's safe to say preparation for a Halloween snowstorm will not be necessary, but you still might want to start dusting off your jackets. According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, the countdown for snow begins soon.
Old Farmer's Almanac Shares November Prediction
The Old Farmer's Almanac released its winter prediction for Texas, and yes, the word "snow" is dropped. According to the almanac, winter in general will likely be hotter than normal, but that's not to say the possibility of snowfall is out the window.

In fact, snow could drop in the Crossroads, and it could happen very soon. The Old Farmer's Almanac predicts, "the best chance for snow is in mid-November."

We're in the clear for Halloween, but if you're prepping for Crossroads BBQ & Brew, plan accordingly:
The highest chance of snowfall in Texas will occur on November 8th through November 10th.
Now, to be fair, we're probably in the clear down here in the Crossroads. North Texas is usually the region that gets hit with snow the most, but I'd like to believe this is the year we'll get to make snow angels in De Leon Plaza.
