What Is The Name Of The Product In Question?
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, Nuby Stroller Fans are the items that are under recall. To be specific, if the fan you purchased has the lot number N8K10X and 25138 as the model number, your fan is the one being called back. It was described as looking like this and having these features:
- Black with the Nuby brand name on the center/front of fan
- Three speeds
- Adjustable tripod legs
- Rechargeable USB port

Why Is The Fan A Problem For Young Children?
Per The CPSC, due to the fan's design, young children's fingers are in danger when the fan is running. While the item is running, a child could potentially stick their fingers in the fan and harm their fingers. At the time of writing, seven instances have been recorded of a child touching the blade, resulting in six injuries categorized as lacerations.
