Tariffs will cause the price of beer to go up in Texas, and across the USA, but they're not associated with ingredients or shipping.

New tariffs have been placed on goods from other countries and they're going to cause prices to jump on all kinds of stuff in Texas and elsewhere like cars, electronics, apparel, fruits, veggies and lots more.

The worst price hike of 'em all? Beer prices are going up.

It's not because of tariffs on the ingredients or importation, we make plenty of brew right here in the USA. It's the aluminum cans, being hit with a 25% tariff, that will cause the price of a 6 pack to rise $1 - $2 dollars.

You think the toilet paper runs during Covid were crazy? Wait 'til you see me trying to stock up on Coors Light before prices rise. Just for the record, I checked ... well,  statesman.com did anyway ... and there's no limit on how much beer an individual can buy at one time.

Their may be limits on using coupons or certain special offers but how much beer you buy is only limited by how much money you have and, of course, how big your vehicle is. My Tacoma should be able to hold plenty.

There is, FYI, a limit on how much beer you can brew. 200 gallons a year is all you get which ... this I did figure out myself ... is about 16 gallons a month. That's about 16 gallons a week which means, even as a brewer, I'm still probably going to have to go shopping.
