Kanye West's first song of 2019 finally made its debut on BET's Tales.

Last night (July 2), the song, titled "Brothers," appeared in the first episode of the second season of Tales, which was created by Irv Gotti. The track features Charlie Wilson and was produced by Gotti and his longtime friend Seven. The record is unlike anything 'Ye has concocted in the past two years. As the piano keys begin the track, Wilson croons on the intro before Kanye unloads some heartfelt lyrics.

"You should've listened dawg, when your baby was born/Should have shouted you out, dedicated a song," Kanye raps in his verse. "I can say I was wrong, I can take the blame, 'Cause brothers don't always have to share the same name/We met when we was young, I forgot the grade/When last one in the race was a rotten egg."

"Brothers" arrives about a month after Irv Gotti told Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club about the song during an interview. During the conversation, Irv all but confirmed that the season premiere will feature a brand new song from the G.O.O.D Music founder.

"So the normal thing how we do Tales, if you're a fan of Tales, is I take existing songs and turn them into movies. So the season premiere, July 2, will be a two-hour season premiere of a brand new record produced by me and my production partner Seven from a huge, huge, huge artist," Irv said on June 5. "I won't name the artist—you'll find out in a week or two. Controversial. The biggest, hugest artist who's been the most controversial in the last year."
