The sexual assault lawsuit filmmaker Jennifer Jarosik filed against Russell Simmons has been dismissed, TMZ reports.

Jarosik sued Simmons for $5 million after she claimed that he sexual assaulted her when she denied his advances. However, according to documents obtained by TMZ, the lawsuit has been dismissed with prejudice, which means that she can't refile. The site points out that this is typically indicative that there's been a settlement.

Simmons has previously denied Jarosik's claims, saying that Jarosik had sent him text messages and nude photos after the alleged assault. He says Jarosik was just trying to get money.

Simmons has come under fire since last fall, after 10 different women accused him of rape, attempted rape, and other sexual misconduct. The New York Police Department is reportedly investigating at least two of the claims. Simmons has denied all of the allegations.

Reps for Simmons had no comment on the lawsuit dismissal.
