Game of Thrones may have played coy with Peter Dinklage’s Tyrion by the first Season 6 trailer, but the half-man will host full time when April offers its first SNL. The erstwhile Peter Drunklage has booked his first official SNL hosting, just weeks ahead of the Game of Thrones premiere.

SNL confirmed Dinklage’s first hosting during the Ariana Grande double-duty outing, specifically that Dinklage would host the April 2 outing with musical guest Gwen Stefani. The Game of Thrones and one-time 30 Rock star previously appeared opposite Bobby Moynihan’s “Drunk Uncle” back in 2013, while Stefani has previously appeared four times (once technically with No Doubt, two others with Eve and Akon).

In any case, Dinklage marks the first April host, following Grande and Jonah Hill as the only March guests, given that NBC will run the Chris Hemsworth / Chance the Rapper outing on March 19.

Game of Thrones Season 6 itself will premiere on April 24, sure to be the source of a sketch or two on Dinklage’s April 2 hosting.
