Four States Fair and Rodeo

The rodeo will be in Texarkana this month!

The Texarkana Drill Team performed at the Four States Fair and Rodeo each night beginning at 7:10 p.m. My sister and several friends ride in the group. I tried it one year--I kind of stunk it up so I decided to watch rather than participate.

These ladies really know how to ride! Watch as they turn and burn around the barrels at the Four States Fair and Rodeo in Texarkana, Arkansas last month. Did you know that many of the riders rubber band their feet to the stirrups to prevent slippage?

The Four States Fair and Rodeo was last month in Texarkana. I have some amazing videos from Friday and Saturday night at the rodeo. The bull fighting from Saturday night was wild! I also have several videos of the bull riding event.

After torrential rains hammered Texarkana all night and all day, it should come as no surprise that fair carnival will be closed Friday night.
